Chronic Vaginal Discharge

Abnormal chronic vaginal discharge could be an indication of vulvar vestibulitis or cervical dysplasia. Constant thick flow from the vagina characterized by white color and an unusual odor are often due to an increased level of progesterone that interferes with the flora and makes the cervix produce more mucous. Since the flora in the vagina becomes imbalanced, there appears an unpleasant smell. Abnormal chronic vaginal discharge could be an indication of vulvar vestibulitis or cervical dysplasia.
