Bacterial Picture Vaginosis

A bacterial picture vaginosis will show symptoms that cannot be treated with cryotherapy or a cone biopsy. Self-treating over the counter medications for yeast infections will not cure other infections from bacteria and complications can arise. Most vaginal infections are not yeast infections although they may mimic the symptoms. The infection occurs when the vaginal balance is disrupted. Several causes are attributed to the development of this condition. Some factors may be E. coli, which is a normal inhabitant of the rectum entering the vagina, tight cloths, poor personal hygiene, poor health, use of an intrauterine device, and routine douching.
