Warts Mouth

Warts mouth are a kind of verruca that differ much from vaginal wart. This disorder is caused by HPV (types 13 and 32), which is a double-stranded, circular, super coiled DNA virus. They are seen most frequently in children of American Indian or Eskimo descent. They usually are 1-5 mm in size, with some lesions coalescing into plaques. Warts mouth are a kind of verruca that differ much from vaginal wart.

The lesions appear as multiple flat-topped or dome-shaped pink-white papules. It also can be seen on the buccal or gingival mucosa and rarely, on the tongue. Focal epithelial hyperplasia, also termed Heck disease, is infectious disease occurring in the oral cavity, usually on the lower labial mucosa.
