There are several options for genital wart treatments; they are prescribed after a colposcopy; ASCUS is considered a minor problem and is usually not treated. Cryosurgery is very effective for treating multiple, small disorders on the genitalia, but it’s not effective treating the rectum area. Standard therapies for genital polyps is to remove it using caustic/acids, podophylin resin, imiquimod cream (Aldara), interferon, podophylox,and HPV vaccines (not yet available). Colposcopy, ASCUS

There is no ideal remedy for all cases and all patients. People infected with hpv should always use condoms so as to not transmit the virus to uninfected partners. Subclinical infection may be lifelong, and there is no remedy. Cure is aimed mostly at destruction of the growths rather than elimination of the virus.
