There is no ideal wart cure; with cone biopsy it is possible to remove verruca and warts but they can recur. Cryosurgery is very effective for treating multiple, small disorders on the genitalia, but it’s not effective curing the rectum area. Standard therapies for GW remove most or the problem. They include: caustic/acids, podophylin resin, imiquimod cream (Aldara), interferon, podophylox, HPV vaccines (not yet available). There is no ideal wart cure; with cone biopsy it is possible to remove verruca and warts but they can recur.

There is no ideal remedy for all cases. People should use condoms not to transmit the virus to uninfected partners. Subclinical infection may be lifelong, and there is no remedy. Treatment is aimed at destruction of the growths rather than elimination of the virus. There is no ideal wart cure; with cone biopsy it is possible to remove verruca and warts but they can recur.
