STD genital warts, common wart and cervical dysplasia are caused by different strains of HPV. If there are abnormal markings on the partner’s genitals, the intercourse should be avoided, because of the possibility of HPV and other diseases. Women should also reduce the chances of getting the disease: avoid sexual activity in young years, use condoms, and avoid sexually promiscuous partners.
