Plantars Warts

Plantars warts usually have no complications, but urethritis and other dangerous conditions are also caused by human papilloma virus. They begin as small shiny papules and progress to deep round lesions, surrounded by a smooth collar of thickened horn. When it occurs on the hand, it tends to be subungual or periungual. This problem is found on weight-bearing areas, such as the metatarsal head and heel.
