Pap Smears

Regular pap smears are recomended for all women, especially if the partner has penile wart or other disorders; cryotherapy is one of the options for treating these disorders. Early detection is important. This test has helped drastically lower the number of women who die of cervical cancer. A positive result can mean there is an inflammation caused by infection, early signs of cancer called dysplasia, more serious signs of cancer called "carcinoma in situ", or more advanced cancer. Regular pap smears are recomended for all women, especially if the partner has penile wart or other disorders; cryotherapy is one of the options for treating these disorders.

Penile Wart, Cryotherapy

Cells go through a change before they become cancerous. This sample is then sent to a lab to be checked for abnormalities. Your doctor will take a sample of cells from your cervix with a cotton swab. This is a test performed on your cervix to find signs of cancer.
