Oral Warts

Oral warts are not treated with leep procedure, though genital warts caused by human papilloma virus can be removed with such a method. This disorder is caused by HPV (types 13 and 32), which is a double-stranded, circular, super coiled DNA virus. They are seen most frequently in children of American Indian or Eskimo descent. They usually are 1-5 mm, with some lesions coalescing into plaques. LEEP Procedure, Human Papilloma Virus

The lesion appears as flat-topped or dome-shaped pink-white papule. It also can be seen on the buccal or gingival mucosa and rarely, on the tongue. Focal epithelial hyperplasia, also termed Heck disease, is an Human papillomavirus infection occurring in the mouth, usually on the lower labial mucosa.
