Normal Pap Smear

A normal pap smear means that you have no abnormalities in the cervix; cryosurgery can be applied to a penile wart of your partner to prevent such a disorder from spreading. If the cells do not reveal any changes, a woman is likely to have a healthy cervix and vagina. The cells are then examined under a microscope for correct size and shape. During the test, the vaginal opening is widened for a better view of the cervical area and a special instrument is inserted to take a sample of cervical cells. A normal pap smear means that you have no abnormalities in the cervix; cryosurgery can be applied to a penile wart of your partner to prevent such a disorder from spreading.
