Liquid Pap Smear

With a liquid pap smear it is possible to determine vaginosis and other abnormalities on the cervix. New methods of detecting cervical cancer have been introduced of late. Some of them involved using a computer to scan the samples and grade them before a cytologist does it. Though highly qualified, cytologists may miss certain cells that look abnormal, which does not allow to qualify test results as 100% accurate. With a liquid pap smear it is possible to determine vaginosis and other abnormalities on the cervix.
