Irregular Pap Smears

Irregular pap smears are rather dangerous, so every woman over 18 should have this test, especially if she has abnormal vaginal discharge, vulvar irritation and other problems. Some cases, though, may indicate true cancer, which calls for immediate treatment. When treated, infections also relief inflammation and Papanicoulaou test results appear normal again. Atypical cells may disappear without any treatment as soon as the initial irritants (spermicides, douching, etc.) are removed. Irregular pap smears are rather dangerous, so every woman over 18 should have this test, especially if she has abnormal vaginal discharge, vulvar irritation and other problems.
