Genital Wart Treatments

There are several genital wart treatments, but cryosurgery is most often used; vulvar vestibulitis may be one of the symptoms of serious disorder. Standard therapies for GW remove most or the problem. Cryosurgery is very effective for treating multiple, small disorders on the genitalia. Other options are: caustic/acids, podophylin resin, imiquimod cream (Aldara), interferon, podophylox, HPV vaccines (not yet available). Cryosurgery, Vulvar Vestibulitis

There is no ideal remedy for all cases. Such people should always use condoms not to transmit the virus to uninfected partners. Subclinical infection may be lifelong, and there is no remedy. Cure is aimed at destruction of the warty growth rather than elimination of the virus.
