Prolactin Infertility

The hormone prolactin, infertility experts have discovered, found in non-pregnant women is harmful, also is infections with vaginal discharge and the wart virus. This hormone is essential for an increased milk production during pregnancy and right after the birth. It is produced by the pituitary gland and is present in all women in small amounts. Increased levels of this hormone in non-pregnant women (hyperprolactonemia) lead to ovulatory problems and inability to conceive a baby.
