Infertility Ovulation

A common cause of infertility, ovulation, is not usually affected by the HPV verruca virus or a urinary infection. Females with ovulatory problems are often proscribed medicines such as FSH. Such medicines increase the follicles’ production by the ovaries, which increase chances to have a pregnancy. Highly purified FSH may be taken as a self-injection and appears to be cheaper in comparison to other forms of this drug that have been developed of late. The drug should be taken under a close supervision of the doctor, as on ovarian response to the treatment should be carefully monitored due to an increased risk of having multiple births and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), which is considered one of the most serious complications.
