HPV Types

There are over 100 hpv types, and not all of them lead to serious complications, such as miscarriage; accompanied with urethritis HPV is difficult to treat. If venereal warts are suspected, women should immediately see a health care provider and have a pap test performed. It is likely to be even more common than we think. Because this virus rarely causes symptoms, the majority of infected people are unaware they have it. This is a preventable disease if detected early. Cancers of the cervix are the second most common of all cancers of women worldwide. These strains are 16, 18, 31, and 45, and cause dysplastic tissue. Some genital strains of the virus are associated with cancer.
