HPV Std

The different strains of the hpv std will often be found along with infections such as the urinary infection and high-risk types will cause cervical dysplasia. The viruses that are linked to cervical dysplasia and cancers, primarily in squamous cells and have no symptoms, are the types 16 and 18. There are more than 100 types of the Human Papilloma virus, and about 30 of these infect the genital area. This virus is very infectious and partners of people that have visible signs are almost always infected themselves. Risk factors for contracting the human papilloma viruses are engaging in intercourse at an early age (16 or younger) and having many sexual partners. The different strains of the hpv std will often be found along with infections such as the urinary infection and high-risk types will cause cervical dysplasia.
