Herpes HPV

Although associated with herpes, HPV is the only virus known to cause cervical cancer or vulvar cancer. The combination of these two infections will sometimes include recurring blisters and flu like symptoms and possible warts in the genital area. Most people infected with Human papillomavirus never show any detectable symptoms and are unaware of even being infected. Although associated with herpes, HPV is the only virus known to cause cervical cancer or vulvar cancer.

The Human papillomavirus causes cancer, but a lot of people have it and never get cancer but the addition of another STD could increase chances by two to three times. Research suggests that women infected with this combination of sexually transmitted viruses can have a higher risk of cervical cancer. Although associated with herpes, HPV is the only virus known to cause cervical cancer or vulvar cancer.
