HPV Pregnancy

When diagnosed with hpv, pregnancy should be closely monitored as the pap smear won't reveal other infections that could also be present such as condyloma hpv and other infections commonly present with this infection. The babies that contract the virus are usually able to overcome it. This virus has been detected in the amniotic fluid of pregnant women. Caesarean birth is not recommended for women with this virus or genital warts because it does not prevent infecting the baby. When diagnosed with hpv, pregnancy should be closely monitored as the pap smear won't reveal other infections that could also be present such as condyloma hpv and other infections commonly present with this infection.
