Herpes Type 1

Herpes type 1 usually occurs in the mouth and HSV-2 happens in the genital area; cone biopsy and other methods suitable for lesions on the genitals cannot cure oral and genital herpes. Antiviral treatment may help reduce the number of repeated outbreaks. Since the infection is easily transmitted, it is recommended to prevent the virus from spreading by not sharing towels, dishes, and other objects. The virus cannot be removed from the body resulting in recurrent outbreaks lasting for about a week.
