Herpes Outbreaks

During herpes outbreaks people have multiple blisters on various parts of the body; genital wart often occur with herpes, but this condition can be treated with cone biopsy and oter methods, while herpes is incurable. People with HIV, leukemia, and other severe disorders may have more recurrences. It is not known for sure what causes recurrences but it is believed that stress, medications and diseases that impair the immune system, and other factors may cause the virus to activate. The virus travels to the skin, multiplies, and produces cold sores on the face or genitals. It is inactive most of time, yet may activate and cause lesions. After entering the body, the virus will settle in nerve cells and remain there for life.
