Facial Herpes

Facial herpes virus and the vaginal wart virus is not related, herpes and HPV are separate virus families. Called also cold sores, this infection is annoying since it results in periodic outbreaks accompanied by lesions on the mouth, the inside of the cheeks, and sometimes near eyes. Antiviral medicines such as acyclovir stop the virus spread on the skin and reduce the length of the episode. As for people with frequent outbreaks, they are advised to take small doses of medicines to reduce the chance of the outbreak.
