Herpes Genitalis

There are two strains of herpes, genitalis and oral, and are stds along with the HPV genital wart viruses that are diagnosable with a colposcopy. There are many different treatments available that can help to get rid of the bumps though there are no 100% effective treatments as well as there are not vaccines. Even after treatment they can return and you never know whether this happens or not. Sometimes the bumps may vanish without any treatment. Unfortunately there are no vaccines against the virus and there are no treatments that can protect you from disease as well as cure you for good. To avoid catching the virus it is advised not to have multiple partners and usually ask your sex partner(s) if he or she has the virus or other STDs.
