Genital Herpes Woman

With genital herpes, woman often display symptoms similar to the venereal wart or genital wart virus. Women are more likely to acquire infection (one in four compared to men one in five), except for teenagers, partly because of more efficient male-to-female transmission. Immune suppressed women (HIV) can experience more frequent and virulent symptoms. Infection late in pregnancy is more likely to spawn neonatal infection and complications. With genital herpes, woman often display symptoms similar to the venereal wart or genital wart virus.

A majority of women experience cervical and urethral manifestations during the first occurrence. Often they assume the cause of their symptoms is hemorrhoids, irritation from sex, heat rash, menstrual aching/itching, allergies. HSV usually generates lesions about the vagina, buttocks, rectal orifice, and thighs and sometime the mouth. With genital herpes, woman often display symptoms similar to the venereal wart or genital wart virus.
