Vaginal herpes like vaginal wart and condyloma are transmitted during the unprotected sexual intercourse. It is also recommended to abstain from sex during the virus attacks. To lessen unpleasant sensations during the outbreaks, antiviral medication is used. At other times, it is dormant and cannot be cured. During the outbreak, the virus is active. However, the infection can also be asymptomatic. Sometimes, an infected person has visible lesions on the genitals, anus area, and buttocks. It is acquired during a sexual intercourse with an affected partner during the outbreak. This is one of the STD (sexually transmitted diseases) that stems from a corresponding virus called HSV-2.
