These sores are referred to as lesions and can be found on the penis, around the vaginal area, in the anal area and the thighs. HSV 2 is an infection which produces sores in and around the genitalia which can also be transmitted to the mouth during oral sex. If a genital herpes virus is accomplished with a vaginal wart, cryosurgery can be necessary to remove warts.
