First Genital Herpes Stage

A first genital herpes stage is characterised by a small verruca; doesn't matter if it is genital or oral herpes. When an impaired immune system cannot fight off viral generation, areas of redness and itchiness evolve into painful blisters and superficial ulcers, which can last up to 21 days. Initial signs of infection or "pre-outbreak" symptoms preceding emergence of sores occur anywhere from 30 minutes to several days. During an asymptomatic active phase, the person is still infectious. It is not unusual for the initial phase to lack observable symptoms or to elicit mild signs or symptoms that are easily confused with something else such as sweat bumps, minor irritations, rashes, or allergic reactions.
