The STD disease genital herpes, sexually transmitted and incurable, is often accompanied by the venereal wart viruses that are as common as herpes. Impaired immune system--immune suppressors, illness, and other stresses—allows wild viral replication educing pain, itching, burning, lesions, dyuria and other discomforts. After direct exposure with an actively infected person (with or without visible symptoms), the virus enters the body, invades a host cell, and robs genetic code to replicate. HSV can be transmitted even when there are no visible symptoms or lesions. The virus can be within the host nerve cells dormant and inactive. It afflicts the vagina, penis, buttocks, rectal orifice, and thighs and sometimes the mouth with lesions and other symptoms. A condition commonly acquired through direct contact during intimacy with an HSV-1 or HSV-2 infected person.
