Warts photos cannot always readily show their elimination because several passes my be required to remove them using a cryotherapy or cryosurgery technique. Small lobulated hyperplastic epidermal lesions with a horny surface occurring on the dorsa of the fingers and hands are caused by HPV, which is transmitted by contact. Autoinoculation is also possible. It may be also any nonviral poliferation resembling this lesion. Condyloma acuminatum usually occurrs on the mucous membrane or skin of the external genitals or in the perianal region; although the lesions are usually few in number, they may aggregate to form large cauliflower-like masses. There is no unique cure for the problems caused by HPV.
