Warts and all hpv infectious genital manifestations are potentially cancerous; LEEP procedure may be employed to sample ASCUS tissue to ascertain its presence. These are lobulated hyperplastic epidermal lesions with horny surface caused by HPV, transmitted by contact or autoinoculation, and usually occurring on the fingers and hands, soles and genitalia. It may be also any nonviral poliferation resembling this lesion. Condyloma acuminatum usually occurrs on the mucous membrane or skin of the external genitals or in the perianal region; although the lesions are usually few in number, they may form large masses. People who had such disorders should always use condoms to prevent inoculating their partners.
