Viral Wart

A viral wart can cause vaginal dysplasia, directly linked to condyloma. Referred to as Molluscum contagiosum, it is a common benign skin growth caused by poxviruses infecting the top layers of the skin. It enters through hair follicles and skin abrasions. It is easily transmitted and initiates development of the molluscum lesions. Biopsy may be done to differentiate from other viruses.
