Treatment measures are: benign neglect (not recommended for extensive and spreading disease,) topical agents (salicylic acid, cantharidin, podophyllin, imiquimod, cidofovir, podophyllotoxin, and tretinoin,) intralesional injections (bleomycin, interferon alpha,) systemic agents (cimetidine and retinoids,) and alternative treatments.
