Genital Warts HPV

Genital warts, hpv induced, can take on an appearance similar to lichen sclerosis or a plantar wart. The other name is condyloma acuminatum. Females are more often affected than males. The female-to male ratio is about 1:4 to 1. Young adults 15-25 years have a greater incidence. Condyloma acuminatum doesn’t become medically noticed until several months after inoculation with human papillomavirus. Lichen Sclerosis, Plantar Wart

The symptom of the disease is pink-to brown papillomatous papules or nodules on the genitalia, perineum, crural folds, and anus. The mass varies from tiny to very large extending into the vagina, urethra, cervix, perirectal epithelium, anus, and rectum.
