Some genital warts cure may have a slim risk of complications leading to miscarriage and infertility. Treatment of GW is usually aimed at destruction of the polyp growths rather than elimination of the virus. Subclinical infection may be lifelong, and without symptoms. Infected people should always use condoms so as to not transmit the virus to uninfected partners. There is no ideal remedy for all cases. Standard therapies for these growths is to remove most of the problem. They are: caustic/acids, podophylin resin, imiquimod cream (Aldara), interferon, podophylox, HPV vaccines (not yet available). Cryosurgery is very effective for treating multiple, small disorders on the genitalia, but itís not effective treating the rectum area.
