Treatment For Warts

There is no unique treatment for warts, but with cryotherapy or LEEP it is possible to remove abnormalities from the cervix. Cryosurgery is the alternative method, effective for treating multiple, small disorders on the genitalia, but itís not effective on the rectum area. They are: caustic/acids, podophylin resin, imiquimod cream (Aldara), interferon, podophylox, HPV vaccines (not yet available). Standard therapies for these growths remove most or the problem. There is no ideal remedy for all cases and all people. Such people should always use condoms not to transmit the virus to his/her partners. Subclinical infection may be lifelong and asymptomous, and there is no remedy. The aim of the treatment is to destroy the warty growth rather than to eliminate the virus. There is no unique treatment for warts, but with cryotherapy or LEEP it is possible to remove abnormalities from the cervix.
