Mouth Wart

A mouth wart doesn't require a colposcopy exam, like a genital wart. Medical treatment options may include some of these: surgical excision, cryotherapy (freezing with liquid nitrogen) or laser vaporization and may take numerous visits with no guarantee that they won’t recur. Microscopic tissue examination is required for diagnosis of this condition even though some may spontaneously resolve. A mouth wart doesn't require a colposcopy exam, like a genital wart.

Women who take highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) for abnormal cervical lesions and who have rectal lesions are more likely to develop oral manifestations. Cervical cancer is on the decline, however, oral lesions are on the rise. Risks of oral HPV are not clear. A mouth wart doesn't require a colposcopy exam, like a genital wart.
