The method for genital warts treatment is prescribed only after a colposcopy exam; it can be a leep procedure, cryosurgery, or cone biopsy. Cryosurgery is very effective for removing multiple, small disorders on the genitalia, but itís not effective curing the rectum area. Standard therapies for GW remove most or the problem. They are: caustic/acids, podophylin resin, imiquimod cream (Aldara), interferon, podophylox, HPV vaccines (not yet available).
