Freezing wart is one of the options for removing venereal wart, genital wart or common warts. Applications generally take 3-5 times over a period of weeks. However, the belief that the growth immediately freezes off is a misconception. This treatment can be painful since it can result in blisters that eventually crust over and fall off, but it has the advantage of a faster removal time.
