Filiform Wart

A filiform wart, penile wart, condyloma, cervical dysplasia and other genital disorders are caused by HPV. These disorders can disappear on their own without treatment; however, when they persist medical attention is sought. They are not highly contagious and are non-malignant causing little discomfort unless they are in an area of re-occurring damage. These growths are classified as common because of the familiar appearance. A filiform wart, penile wart, condyloma, cervical dysplasia and other genital disorders are caused by HPV.

Penile Wart, Condyloma

These growths consist of small finger-like keratotic projections that are scattered, typically in cluster, and occur among beards of males. Lesions that are a result of over production of cellular matter (keratin) that induces living cells to move up replace epidural (old dead cells that protect underlying living) cells. A filiform wart, penile wart, condyloma, cervical dysplasia and other genital disorders are caused by HPV.
