Aggressive treatment of non genital verucca is not as complicated those that can lead to infertility such as treatment of a vaginal wart. Plantar Warts are one of the most common strains of the HPV, or Human Papilloma Virus. There are different options for treating plantar warts, but are known to be painful. Your doctor may try using salicylic-acid plasters to try to eliminate the wart, this can take weeks to be effective. Other more aggressive therapies are burning, freezing the warts with liquid nitrogen, or surgically removing the wart. There are many alternative remedies, but no one seems to work more effectively overall. The alternative approach focuses on gradual remission of the warts.
