The condyloma is caused by human papillomavirus or HPV. The condyloma appear as small bumps which may enlarge or spread. They may appear as a flat or cauliflower-like form. They can appear on the penis, scrotum, vulva, vagina, cervix, anus or, rarely, on the mouth or throat. The studies have shown that the virus can affect about 70 percents of sexually active people, most of whom will never develop condyloma or any other changes caused by the virus.
