HPV genital wart is a condition that can result in miscarriage and infertility. The human papilloma virus can be anywhere in the anal or pubic area, making condoms ineffective in the prevention of transmission during sexual contact. Skin-to-skin contact is all that is necessary for transmission. Condoms, however, will help prevent the spread of many other sexually transmitted infections.
