Gential Wart

The gential wart HPV viruses have been linked to vaginal infections and miscarriage, and will cause ASCUS readings in a pap smear. HPV infection is the most common sexually transmitted disease in the United States. There are about 100 virus strains, each possessing its unique characteristics. Some of the types cause warts on the skin of the genital area. Genital warts can also develop in the mouth or throat of a person who has had oral sex with an infected person. The gential wart HPV viruses have been linked to vaginal infections and miscarriage, and will cause ASCUS readings in a pap smear.

According to the American Social Health Association, approximately 5.5 million new cases of sexually transmitted HPV infections are found every year. When the infection is asymptomatic, an infected person can transmit the disease without even knowing it. The gential wart HPV viruses have been linked to vaginal infections and miscarriage, and will cause ASCUS readings in a pap smear.
