Getting Rid Of Genital Warts

Prior to getting rid of genital warts, a routine pap smear test is required; these lesions cannot lead to a miscarriage or other complications. In most serious cases the longer therapy may be required or even surgical removal. Local applications of podophyllin or trichloracetic acid, or freezing with liquid nitrogen are used weekly until warts disappear. Treatment of the disease is similar in both sexes.
