Genital Wart HPV

Genital wart-HPV is a symptom of the virus that can also cause an ASCUS pap reading, in which cryotherapy is often the treatment option for removal. Venereal warts are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. This virus also causes atypical paps and cervical dysplasia. For this reason, women are recommended to have annual pap screenings, for prevention of cervical cancer. If presence of the virus is detected, your doctor will most likely monitor your paps every three months.
