There are several ways of flat wart treatment, but first the problem should be diagnosed; genital disorders are diagnosed with colposcopy, and genital HPV is called condyloma. A variety of procedures are available depending on age of patient and type of growth. With this type of HPV it is best to get them removed because of the possibility of large numbers appearing. In children these growths can disappear over a period of several months to years. They can occur on the face of children, and on the face and legs of adults, where shaving takes place. This type of HPV infection is unlike other growths in that they commonly grow in large quantities, up to 100 at a time.
