Condyloma HPV

Condyloma, hpv type, caused by the human papilloma virus may not be clinically apparent until positive Pap for ASCUS occurs. The Human Papillomavirus is considered by many as the most common STD and affects millions of Americans each year. Only about 10-15% of people who carry the virus actually have symptoms. The Human Papillomavirus may lay dormant for up to many years before showing symptoms. Human Papilloma Virus, ASCUS

The most common symptoms of the virus are genital warts and cervical dysplasia. Warts affect men and women, but a man can carry a dysplasia strain of HPV that will only actually develop the problem in women. Men and women can also get plantar, flat, and oral warts from the virus. Condyloma, hpv type, caused by the human papilloma virus may not be clinically apparent until positive Pap for ASCUS occurs.
