Condyloma accuminata caused by HPV appears on the genitals such as a penile wart in men. A wart-like growth on the genitals characterizes Human papilloma virus, a sexually-transmitted disease. Papilloma viruses are responsible for causing warts on the skin. Infections of the genital and anal regions with HPV cause growths on the penis, urethra, vulva, cervix, vagina, and around the anus.
