If left unterated, vulvar condyloma can even lead to infertility or other serious problems with the cervix. Each method of treatment must be applied for individual case management. Treatments for these diseases fall into three groups: biologically-based approaches that focus on the destruction of the virus; preparations that destroy wart tissue, and surgical methods that remove it. There is no ideal remedy for all cases. If left unterated, vulvar condyloma can even lead to infertility or other serious problems with the cervix.

Colposcopy helps detect flat lesions, not visible to the naked eye, and aid in further diagnosis, biopsy and testing for HPV. A raised and pinkish lesions in the anal area, in the cervix and the upper vagina or a cauliflower-like growth on the genitals, requires clinical attention. Genital warts, an STD, usually appears on the genitalia. If left unterated, vulvar condyloma can even lead to infertility or other serious problems with the cervix.
