Leep colposcopy is a new procedure for abnormal cervical changes shown on a pap smear and may be an option to cryosurgery. Loop Electro surgical Excision Procedure is a new method of approaching abnormal changes in the cells of the cervix and is performed in women who have shown severe changes on Pap smear and during an examination under a colposcope. The procedure is strongly recommended for women with cells growing into the cervical canal.
